My passion for art began as a child and became realized in high school. Steady art classes in the foundation of drawing allowed me to emerge and develop my skills, especially in figure drawing.

After attending college in Italy and then Parsons School of Design in New York City, where I graduated with a BFA in communication design, I began a career in advertising as an art director. I lived in NYC for 26 years.

In 2000 I moved out of NYC to Westchester County where I was able to start a small garden. Since then I have been cultivating and studying the flowers in my garden. Doing so inspired me to start taking botanical illustration courses in 2017 at the New York Botanical Garden. It seemed a perfect way to combine two of my loves, art and flowers.

My work has been shown at the Upstream Gallery in Hastings on Hudson, in flower shops in Westchester County and both the Lyndhurst Holiday Market and Flower show. I am a member of the Association of Botanical Artists, and of The Garden Club of Irvington, NY. My work has been published in the GCA Bulletin, and is on its Spring 2025 cover as the first custom illustration in its 113 year history.

I am deeply committed to my desire being "to represent beauty in nature".
